The school values strong links with St. George’s, St. Luke’s and St. Perrin’s Church.

Mrs Kent regularly writes in the local parish magazine.  We also get invovled with any competitions or activities in the diocese.

 

 Last term members of all four local parishes including St George's met with the Director of Education for the diocese Canon David Jenkins.  The purpose of the gathering was to talk about what was the essence of a church school and what makes us distinctive.

it was a productive meeting and also proved to be a good link between church and school.  Following on from the meeting, we now have two new volunteers in school.  Both helping with food! One with our breakfast club and another with shopping for our Let's get Cooking Project we have launched this term.

The children are busy preparing for Harvest and look forward to our celebration in church next month.

Autumn 2009.

We are now preparing for our Christmas Carol Service.  This will be held in our church on Wednesday 16th December at 10 am.

We will share with you Seven Letters and Carols.  It will involve the children from Reception class to Year 6.  Nursery will carry out their service in class on their party day.

It will last about half an hour. Please come and join us and enjoy our Christmas message.
