Our Awards
During 2005 we were very happy to have received the national accreditation of Artsmark Silver and Early Years Kitemark, in recognition of the excellent work which is happening in school. We have recently been re-accredited with both of these awards. in 2009 we had this re-awarded for our continued work.
We also hold the Sport England Activemark. This is a national accreditation programme which recognises the commitment we have to promoting the benefits of physical activity.
In 2007 we were re-awarded the national accreditation Healthy Schools Award and local in 2006 Smiles for Life Award, both recognise the schools commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and attitudes, which we hope children and staff will continue with throughout their lives. The welfare of our staff and pupils is of high priority. In 2009 we were re-accredited with the Healthy Schools Award.
Finally, in July 2009 we were recognised for our work on Inclusion by being awarded the highest grade possible for schools. We received the Gold Award for inclusion, which demonstrates our commitment to ensure all children feel safe, happy and valued. We were delighted to celebrate our success. We know we aim high, so its good to know when we are recognised by outside agencies that we achieve such high standards of care.
